POET
Poetry for what?
To paraphrase an old bard, I once said that poets limited themselves to poetizing the world in different ways . It is, however, a matter of modifying it (by worldizing poetry!). It is precisely this poetry made world, this urgent poetry (because life is still dated!), which I seek: words not for mystification, but for understanding intimate and social reality; poetry that raises flags, that brings together consciences, that knows which side of the trench it is on, that sings the necessary song, that acts. My poetry is not just made of words, as the Salvadoran poet Roque Dalton said, its marrow is the attitude that moves it: collective transformation! In addition to being a writer, I have been researching and translating, for some years now, the poetry of struggle from Latin America, being one of the founders of Trunca Edições, a collective that seeks to rescue, edit, to disseminate and strengthen the field of past and present struggle poetry.

I start to scribble my first poems, moved by amorous passions, by the astonishment in the face of death and loss, and by the poets I discovered in the municipal library, mainly Pessoa and Drummond. In this initial period, I participate and win prizes in some municipal and regional competitions.
Entering the public university broadens my horizons and allows me access to many other poets through their libraries. I know European poetry, other living poets!, and I delve into Brazilian poetry, falling in love with Leminski and Ferreira Gullar, who will mark my diction. In 2000, I entered my second degree, in the Letters course, where I deepened my reflection on literature. During this period, I am awarded in contests in other states of the country.
In addition to literature classes in popular pre-college courses, I develop a training course in art education and literature for public school teachers in Campinas, "Looking for the sense!", together with João Mendes; and the "Sarau" project, which encourages reading and writing, aimed at EJA (Youth and Adult Education)
My poem "Pomba Negra" is awarded in the international contest in Portuguese language promoted by CGTP (Central Geral dos Trabalhadores de Portugal) and published in Portugal.
Publication of my first book of poetry "Subverso (noise in the dark of bodies)", which brought together selected poems from all my production until then.
At that time, the poets Cássio Corrêa and Paulo Vieira and I formed a group of reading, writing, provocation and reflection on poetry, and with that we influenced each other. We launched our first 3 poetry books together and participated in the band Paramnese Provisória, a band of poets, which also had Gera (Geraldo Witeze) and the dear and unforgettable Rodrigo Damasceno.
Creation of the blog "Eupassarin" where I start, in a more systematic way, the research and translation of Latin American struggle poetry.
Poetic reading and writing course "The rescue of the voice" for the MST together with Rodrigo Nascimento.
Publication of my second book of poetry "Nothing common day after another", a pocket book, with micro-poems.
Publication of my third book of poetry "Te give my word"
Launch of my fourth book of poetry "Amor Livre-se". From the second edition onwards, this book also contains a small anthology of Poems to free love.
Workshop for reading and poetic production through the Oficina Hilda Hilst, of the state government of SP, together with the poets Cássio Corrêa and Paulo Vieira.
Participation in the Varau project at SESC-Sorocaba, presenting my poetic work.
Publication of articles on poetry and struggle in the magazine "Transversal Territories" organized by the MTST
Publication of my children's book "PSIU" which was selected in the FICC edict of Campinas for circulation!
